SEP New client rollback. Won´t install and all symantec products have been deleted
Updated: 24 May 2010 | 3 comments
I have a WIN XP workstation that will not install the SEP client. Every time I try to install it is about to complete it performs a roll back. I have removed all symantec software and still no go. I enclose the symantec install log. If anyone can help me out with this it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for the help.

De facto when AV does something, it starts jumping up and down, waving its arms, and shouting "Hey! I found a virus! Look at me! I'm soooo goooood!"
I have alreasy tried this several times with no avail. It get to 98 percent and still no go
Check if Event Log is started in Services.msc
1. Check if Event Log is Started and set as automatic in services.msc. If this service is stopped, then,
2. Download eventlog.dll file and copy it in C:\WINDOWS\system32
3. Start the Event Log services and install SEP11
