Is there a way that we can uninstall sophos 7.3 then preceeded by sep client installation using migration and deployment wizard?

Thanks in advance

Hi, If you download the CD2

Hi,

If you download the CD2 of the SEP 11.0 product, it has a folder called as competetive uninstaller. Where there are a lot of scripts for uninstalling other products. I am sure you will find one for sophos 7.3 as well.

After that, you can use the migration and deployment wizard for deploying the SEP client.

Best,
Aniket

Hi, Migration and deployment

Hi,

Migration and deployment wizard can only uninstall legacy Symantec AV clients and previous installations of SEP clients, then the package installs a new client on that machine.

So I think you will need to take care of uninstalling sophos first and then go ahead with the deployment process.

Best,
Aniket

Re

Try removing sophos first, you can try by using msiexec, go here for the syntax

Try this script to remove sophos via command line.
