  • 1.  SEP rolls back at the end of installation

    i have windows server 2008 R2
    iis installed and web server is running normally
    the istallation rolls back at configuring IIS...
    log file is 10mb so i've zipped it.

     Hi,

    The error says "Could not find Live update Location"

    Try to install live update first and then install SEP Manager

    Run "lusetup" from the CD and then try to install SEPM.

    Reconfigure iis according to this doc first

    removed iis and reinstalled with new configs
    installed live update
    same problem

    Its very Clear from the Logs that you are trying to install 11.0.4000.xxxx which is not supported on Windows server 2008 R2..

    Download the latest version of SEP from
    https://fileconnect.symantec.com

    it should be 11.0.6000.xxxx

    thank you, we ordered the package last week , didnt know abt the vesion and compability....
