This problem was supposedly fixed with MR2 Fix ID 1197749.  After installing RU5, the cisco client does not work giving an error saying there is firewall policy mismatch.  Deinstalling RU5 immediately fixes the problem.  Apparently the file fwsvpn.dll which was supposedly removed is now back.  Manual removal of the file does not work as SEP detects the file is missing and reinstalls it.

I have tried this with all recent versions of Cisco VPN client.

    Hi,

I would suggest that you call in support team and confirm that its not an environmental issue.

    Best,

I saw this when we went to Vista using Cisco.   Depending on which client your running this is a known issue with the Cisco client and there was a write up on it on the Cisco site that my network guys had found for me.

Support has verified that this is a problem and that the file still exists.  They recommended replacing the fwsvpn.dll file with a dummy file which fixes the problem for now.  No ETA on a real fix or why the file is still shipping with the product when it was supposed to be removed with fix id 1197749.
