  • 1.  SEP SBE 12, SPC admin login timeout

    How can I disable or extend the timeout period on the administrator's login session to the SPC console in end point protection 12 small business edition?

     

    During push installations the time out happens before the client push has finished. Hate that timeout, the console is physically secure and I want to disable the timeout altogether. Or push it to > 2 hours if it must be on.

    open admin

    servers

    local site

    right click on local site and select properties

    here you will get to change the console time.

    Rafeeq, that applies to SEP 11 only, the feature to adjust the timeout was removed from the SEP 12 SPC.

    There is no option to change timeout value of Symantec protection center console ( SEP 12).

    Console timeout value stored in database.

    -Basic metadata table and content column has console timeout value.

    -Default value 1500 configured there.

    -Tried to change console timeout value but no success.
