Is it possible to do some automated scripting within SEP?

Here is my scenario.... I'd like to make a script that would run at certain intervals (every 8 hours for example) that would scan the machines within SEP. If the IP address is like 10.5.25.* then move to GroupA, if IP address is like 10.4.4.* then move to GroupB, and so on.

I have something similar to this within my domain. When a new machine is added to the domain it goes to the Computers OU. I have a script, that based off the name of the PC/Server knows which OU to move it to.

Anyway of doing something like this within SEP using something like vbscript, javascript, batch scripting, etc..?
