Hello, is it possible to have two SEP servers connect to one database?

Only if using the SQL db (remote).

You cannot do this with the embedded DB

Yes, so with SQL you can have two different SEP servers connect to the same database?

That's how we do it.  The management server list tells the clients what SEPM to connect to, and if it fails, it connects to the other one.

Yes, for failover and load balancing or replication to replicate logs/policies, etc between SEPMs

Just to clarify, you can have two SEPM servers with the same database name running at the same time?

Each can connect to that specific database, yes. Whether you use replication or failove/load balance is up to you.

You can have two different sepms running using two different DB's

if two SEPMs are using a single DB then its called Replication

I currently have two SEPM connecting to two different databases and they replicate each other daily. We are trying to get the two SEPM to connect to one and the same database so that the replication at the application layer can be removed and that we have one source of location for data.
