Hi,
I am running 2 Sep servers on different location using a single clustered Database server. I have seen one strange problem with the SEP like after the restart the defination download fine without any problem but after like 20 days it stops automatically without giving any reason or error. But if i manually initiate a defination download from within the SEP console  the defination downloads fine.
I think there is some maintaince happening after 20-30 days which is stopping the servers to download the defination files. the only error which i could find in the log files is this

19 June 2009 0:00:03: Database maintenance finished successfully. [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER1]
19 June 2009 0:00:02: Number of scan events swept: 2 [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER1]
19 June 2009 0:00:02: No old risk events got swept. [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER1]
19 June 2009 0:00:02: No physical files got swept. [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER1]
19 June 2009 0:00:01: No objects got swept. [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER1]
19 June 2009 0:00:00: Database maintenance started. [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER1]
19 June 2009 0:00:00: The process AgentSweepingTask.run can not lock the process status table. The process status has been locked by the server A8AB003E0AD628AC00339B0717FFFBB8 (AgentSweepingTask.run) since 2009-06-19 00:00:00. [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER2]
18 June 2009 16:22:45: LiveUpdate succeeded. [Site: xx-sep11] [Server: SERVER2] (this is where i manually initiate the Liveupdate)

We will be upgrading our Servers next week to MR4 MP2.
Any suggestions about this problem ? let me see if i could change these tasks to run from server 2 instead of server 1
We have Liveupdate set to run every 3 hours in SEP console.

I had the same exact problem.

I had the same exact problem. Although i don't believe it stopped at 20 days exactly, I never checked.
I upgraded to the latest release and this problem went away. I don't know if it was because this release fixed the issue or because the install fixed something that was corrupted.
