SEP services not starting after 11.0.5 upgrade

I have 11.0.4 clients (antivirus,antispyware,truscan only) that I am upgrading to 11.0.5 and I exported the install files to a directory as I always do. If I run the setup on the PC or push it from the SEPM server, the client upgrades just fine (according to the install log file) but the SEP services won't start backup and I don't see any errors about this. I reboot the PC and the upgraded client works just fine.
Anyone else seen this?

Update
I also just discovered that in Windows XP Add/Remove programs, an uninstall appears for both 11.0.4 and 11.0.5. They both point to the same install location though (C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\).
