    Hello

We have 20 users netowork and presently all users notebooks or PC have SEP 11.x unmanaged client installed. Now we have installed SEP Small Business 12.X on of the server as Anti virus server. I want to convert all my unmanged SEP 11.x clients to manged client of SEP Small Business 12.x how should I do without uninstall and reinstall the new client for SEP Small Business 12.x

And my client are Windows 7 and Vista 7 with 32 and 64 bit mixture how should I create installation packages on the server, because I did not see any 32 or 64 bit option selection in console management

    Thanks

What version of SEP 11.x are they using? Unless you are upgrading the clients to 12.1.x (which I wouldn't recommend as it is still beta) I would recommend upgrading to 11.0.6300. The code there is newer than 12.0.x small business.

Is this a trial version of SEP 12 SBE that you are installing? Going to SEP 12 SBE is not an upgrade, SBE has a lot less features and is less configurable. As Thomas stated SEP 11 RU6 MP3 would be the better choice.

    Hello,

    There are few Simple Steps.

    1) Install SPC on the server.

    2) Create the Custom packages from SPC

Deploying clients by using Custom Installation

After finishing the creation of the installation package, open the folder where the package was created.

Inside the folder, copy the SyLink.xml file. This File is something we could require for SylinkReplacer.

    3) Run the SylinkReplacer

By Sylink Replacing, you would be able to get those clients communicate to the SPC back.

    That would resolve your Issue.
