  • 1.  SEP Small Business for Snow Leopard 10.6 ?

    Hello.

     

    We bought last year Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition to protect Windows and Mac OSX 10.6 computers.

     

    Is there now a SEP client for Mac OSx 10.6.4 / 10.6.5 available? In fileconnect I can only see Symantec_AntiVirus_for_Macintosh_10.2.3_EN.dmg .

    Will Symantec_AntiVirus_for_Macintosh_10.2.3_EN.dmg run on Mac OSX 10.6 ?

    Will Symantec_AntiVirus_for_Macintosh_10.2.3_EN.dmg be manageble through the SEP Protection Center?

    SEP 12 SBE does not support Mac OS at this time.

    SAV 10.2.3 is compatible with Mac 10.6.

    This is true, but be aware (per the Read Me that comes with 10.2.3) that Auto-Protect will not function in 64-bit kernel mode, which is the mode that new Snow Leopard boxes are shipping in.  I mention it because I get calls in it occasionally. smiley

    Also, to be clear, SAV for Mac can't be managed by the SPC.
