Hi,

I have a SEP 12.1.5 installation that I've recently inherited.  The only accounts I can see when I log on are Administrator accounts. There is no system administrator account, nor can I add rights to any account to make it a system administrator account.

How can I go about recreating a system administrator account, or assigning system admin rights to an exisitng account?

it simply means that you are logged in with a administrator account so you only have access to see administrator account. You will need to login with any one of the System admin account to see all the accounts 

If you're logged in as the system admin, you should see every account. You can create additional ones if needed. See these articles:

That's my issue.  I don't know what any of the system account names or credentials are.

You can attempt as password reset for the built-in 'admin' account:

Displaying the Forgot your password? link so that administrators can reset lost passwords.

If that doesn't work, you can contact support who should have a tool to do it.

Look for a file called resetpass.bat at the following location. if the file present send me a PM I will help you further, if not you will have to contact symantec support
