SEP ugrade failure

  • 1.  SEP ugrade failure

    Posted Apr 24, 2013 01:53 PM

I tried to upgrade SEPM to 12.2 and the upgrade wizard didn't start. I run the upgrade bat and it also didn't launch. I then tried to repair SEPM hoping the upgrade wizard will eventually lanch and it didn't.

Now I dont' know the SQL database password and I cant continue with the repair. I did backup the databa before the upgrade. Reinstalling SQL is the last resort.

    please help!

    Hi,

Everything is now back up and running. Discovered that the problem was with this directory:

    :\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content

it was taking a lot of disk space, still not sure why as I was not having issues regarding disk space before the upgrade.

    any explanitions??

    Thank you
