  • 1.  SEP Update Problem

    I am a new comer to this forum. Currently I am facing a serious problem with the SEP Update. One of my client installed SEP 11.05 in their Head office and Branches. One server configured in the HO and all it downloads the updates from the symantec update server. And the HO clients taking the update from the local server. also configured one machine in each branch to ollect update from the HO server and distribute the update to the branch clients. and the branch office clints are configured to update from the local machine which is configured to collect and distribute updates from the HO server. But every thing is going wrong now. The branch clients trying to take updates directly from the HO Server and it causes excess banwidth usage and thier regular activities are disturbed due to this. Now i need to configure one machine to act as branch update distributor and all branch clients should take update only from their local server/folder as per the configuration. Pls Provide urgent help. If you need any addl info pls revert back...Thanks in advance

    Which is the version of SEP you are using?All on a sudden this problem started?Do you have problem in all branches or in some?

    version 11.x the problem is from the initial time...now only it was found....it is happening on all branches

    If you donthave GUP, configure it

    Pls tell us the exact version .For eg.11.0.4000.2295....
