I'm following instruction for disaster recovery before upgrading

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH160736&profileURL=https%3A%2F%2Fsymaccount-profile.symantec.com%2FSSO%2Findex.jsp%3FssoID%3D1422455477323zy0JHo3Chn4hI5LS2zgx6hE036fw7F3Onq3Hn

But the database backup take very long time, I've started it  3 hours ago and still working,

It seem tahat the database is huge, is strange, we have only 10 clients.

I've checked and effectively is very large about 4.8 Gb

Today is still working and I found that the zip file is stuck on 205.667 kb, so i kill the process and start again.

Again the file grown to 205.667 kb and then stop growing.

In the past I've already make a backup (last october 2014) and it worked.

Maybe the database is corrupeted? Can I check integrity of database  or reset it?

    Thank you.

Effectively we have a old version of Java, we've installed latest version now.

Meanwhile we have contacted symantec support and at the end we make a clean wipe and install sep 2.1.5. without  import old database.

We have only 10 client and reconfigure was simple.

Now we encountered some problems with the client on the server /gateway, we have installed server high protection package but we have problem with firewall that block internal network to communicate with internet and shared folder. Now we uninstall it and we are trying to install basic protection package for server.
