Hello sendil84, I did some

Hello sendil84,

I did some research for you, but was unable to turn up anything too specific.

Is this a fresh install of SEP or an upgrade? (Your screenshot indicates it's an upgrade, but you didn't mention that in your post so I'm checking.)

I suggest trying the following. Skip step 1 if SEP is not installed. If you have any other Symantec products installed besides SEP, you may need to reinstall them after performing these steps as they may stop working.

  1. Uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection
  2. Reboot
  3. Delete the following directory if it exists: C:\Program Files\Syantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection
  4. Delete the following directory if it exists: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec
  5. Delete the following directory if it exists: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared
  6. Try to install Symantec Endpoint Protection

If this fails, post another install log.

Try creating a new package

Try creating a new package and installing that instead.

I've found several errors in the log file attached.

The installer is having errors in confirming the hash value of certain files and unable to write some entries in the registry.
