  • 1.  SEP Upgrade Notifications

    Hello,

     

    I know I've asked this before, but I still have yet to find anywhere where I can sign up for Notifications regarding new Releases/Maintenance Patches for SEP.  I've tried subscribing to a mailing list a few times provided by Symantec Support to no avail, I recieve no emails, and none are being caught by our spam filters, yet two maintenance patches have come out since I've subscribed. Please I'm desperate to find a notification system so that I can stay on top of new releases and maintance patches, especially since the last one we applied fixed a major issue for us.

    Email notifications will be sent to customer contacts designated as Technical Contacts or contacts designated as License Owners within the Symantec Licensing Portal. For customers without email addresses within the Symantec Licensing Portal, a physical letter Software Version Upgrade notification will be sent to the address on record.

    Here is a trick that I do to make sure I stay on top of product changes.
     
    I use a service called Follow that page. I have it track the SEP Release Notes page, so whenever a change is made to the page I get an email alert.
