  • 1.  SEP v11.0.780.1190 and WPA lack of connection

    I am unable to connect to a wireless network that is using WPA. My current version of SEP v11.0.780.1190. an unmanged client From what i am reading i need to create a rule to manage this problem what would be the rule that i should create. So people are write about an EAPOL Please any help would be great.

    First you upgrade your version to RU6a(11.0.6005.xx).You are using a very old version which is having tones of bugs.You can download it from https://fileconnect.symantec.com .After downloading extract the zip file,go to sep folder and run setup.exe.The client will get upgraded....

    Hi Arvinder ,

    Do i need to upgrade the client machine by running stepup and selecting the "install symantec endpoint protection client ". Can you please provide me the procedure to upgrade RUS 6 from RUS 5 . on client machine

    @ Lazioboy9, That issue was addressed in SEP 11 MR1.

    Upgrade to the latest build as Aravind stated.
