SEP v12 - machines are being reported multiple times
Hello,
I am fairly new to SEP and have been rolling out the AV across our enterprise, however a few machines are being reported twice when you look in the 'Total Number of Endpoints' report, one machine will have the current date for last contact and the other same machine will have the date of last contact as the day it was installed. Because of this the 'Computers needing a restart: ' counter says there are a number of machines that need restatred (even though they have been).
See below image for a better understanding of what I'm trying to get across. As you can see the machine that is being reported as needing a restart has no status, and the working one is up to date.
If there a way to clean up the database so I can remove duplicate entries of the same machine?
Marcus

Moving to SEP 12 forum area.
Are you suing AD replication to import computers and OUs?
Have these machines been imaged?
Hi,
Yes I'm using AD replication to import the information into SEP, however these machines have not been imaged.

Although, it states mostly for Hyper V clients, it is known to occur in other clients as well.
