Endpoint Protection

Good day

We are running SEP version 11 on all clients. Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 32 / 64 bit mixed enviroment. I realized that I do not have the right click, scan for viruses option on my Windows 7 64bit machines. I see old posts mentioned that it is not working. Any solution yet for this?

SEP 12.1 has this feature added, you need to upgrade the client.

Hi guys. Thanks for the feedback. We did recieve the Symantec protection suite package a while ago. This is now with version 12.1. Is it easy to update the version. Just pop in the CD and follow instructiuons. :-)

its simple upgrade. You need to upgrade to SEP 12.1 Ru 1

Migrations from 11.0 RU7 to 12.1 RU1 are supported. ( from the link above).

Migrating from Symantec Endpoint Protection v.11.x clients to Install Symantec Endpoint Protection v.12.1. could migrate flawlessly without any issues.
