SEP Virus definitions up-to-date but still clients are virus-infected

This issue has been solved. See solution.

 We are running windows vista and xp installed with Symantec Endpoint Protection 11,  though on clients virus definitions are updated but still most of them are virus-infected. Operationg Systems are also updated. Any help? Thanks.

Update the SEPM with

Update the SEPM with rapidlrelease jdb file .
Run full scan on the clients.
submit suspicious files to https://submit.symantec.com/basic

make use of threatexpert and virustoal websites to check if they are really suspicious..still submit..
