Hi,

Rceently someone of our persons recommened us to install Malware Bytes where we are performing online transcation.

I need to find why i choose Malwarebyes and why cant i use SEP.

Please share some details information about the which one is better.

Malwarebytes is a second opinion scanner and does not offer real time protection aside from IP blacklisting. SEP offers many more features and layers of protection. MBAM is fine but only to double check what SEP has already scanned.

A second opinion scanner should not be used in place of SEP (or any other AV product).

I am using Symantec and would suggesst you to go for Symantec only.

Again MBAM is a second opinion scanner meant only to be used in combination with an existing AV product. They specifically state that it is not a replacement for AV.

I use SEP as a core for Malware. 

Here'swhat I do to clean infections when malware is detected.

Usally on a PC I scan the client with: Active Scan, Power Eraser then a Full Scan.

If that doesn't clean the infection, then I'll use HitmanPro or Malware Bytes.

But when an infection is detected on a Mac, (because they get viruses too)

What scanner is best use to clean the infection?
