Hello - I have a few PCs that were recently updated to the newest 4013 version.  A few PCs are not able to start SEP, due to an expired cert??? (total guess)

There are screen shots in the attachment.

User got updated but wont turn on.  when he tried to turn it on - he got the messages in the attachment.

Do you know what the prob is?  or what to do?

    thanks

This just started with new version?

What OS are these PCs running?

    See this article:

    User Account Control

Disable it and see what the result is

Did you recently upgrade Java too?

Java certificate revocation could be preventing the expired certificate from launching (see link below).

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sepm-console-unable-launch-application-after-java-upgrade-7u51

Try going to the control panal launch java console > advanced scroll to bottom and change Perform certificate revocation checks on "all certificates in the chain of trust" to "do not check" then try launching SEPM again. Once it's up and running you can change jave back to "all certificates in the chain of trust"

As per the screen shot provided by MzSolo, it looks the SEPM admin has locked the action. You need to change the policies from SEPM and try once again.
