Reporting is very robust in SEP11 and I was looking for a best practices or a good recomendation of what report I should use.

I want to run a report only on servers across all groups that lets me know when the server has stopped reporting to SEP over a period of time say two days or a week.

I currently have a report setup in my virtual environment to let me know if a computer does not checkin set to 1 day as a test and email me.  Unfortunately it never emailed me and I had the computer turned off for 2 days.

    Hi,

The reporting functions in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager gives you the up-to-date information that you need to monitor, and make informed decisions about, the security of your network. You can use the Reports page to generate predefined, or custom, reports with graphical representations and statistics about the events that happen in your network. You can also use the filters on the Monitors page to view more detailed, real-time, information about your network.

To learn more about reporting it is recommended that you read the Chapter 9, "Reporting basics" and Chapter 10, "Viewing and configuring reports", of the administration_guide.pdf which is available in the documentation folder on your CD/Download.

Chapter 9 & Chapter 10  can be found in "Section 1. Basic administrative tasks".
