Hello,

from SEPM I get following events exactly 14 times:

....\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\temp\null (The system cannot find the file specified)

...

An unexpected exception has occurred Unexpected server error. ErrorCode: 0x10010000

What can I do?
What is wrong?
Has anybody a solution for me?

Perhaps you can help me. Thx

run management server configuration wizard

Hi,

Check the link below.

You can run management server configuration wizard by start>programs>Symantec Endpoint Protection manager>management server configuration.

back up database

Also, forgot to mention.Its always better you backup the database before runnnig management server wizard.

uninstall Symantec endpoint protection mgr and install console again

Do you have internet connection to SEPM?

Configure Proxy if you r using proxy.

I think the server is not able to connect to internet to get the latest Symantec version information.

Pls check d:\apps\Symantec

Pls check d:\apps\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\logs\scm-server-0.log file.

Paste the Unknown Exception entry in the log here...

@Peter

I think you had installed the server by taking the remote console of the server.

Repair & reconfigure the server by taking ILO or Dameware.

Kindly find the below document to resolve your issue. It has resolved my errors.

I had migrated all my servers by taking ILO &  Dameware to resolve the above error.
