In SEP12.1 you are able to in a Exceptions poilcy Add an Applicaiton to Monitor.

Then you are able from Application Exception include this applicaiton into a exception policy with different actions like terminate, ignore etc.

Is there anywhere in the SEPM logs/reports where I can see which client was running this application?

    Hello,

I believe you are talking about Network Application Monitoring??

Here are Few Article on the same:

    1) Setting up network application monitoring

    2) Monitoring the applications and services that run on client computers

    3) Searching for information about the applications that the computers run

    4) Saving the results of an application search

    5) How to verify the status of Application Learning for Groups and Locations

    6) How to locate which groups have "Network Application Monitoring" turned on

    Hi,

Thanks for your input, I found the answer in one of them but I think this is a new feature in SEP12.1

You are able to just "turn on" application monitoring for one singel applicaiton. You dont need to enable the Network Application Monitoring, Just specify which application to monitor in the exception policy.

When the application has been monitored you are able to search for the applicaiton and then you will se which clients using it.
