    Hi,

I work at a college that has several different locations. We have a main campus and then 30 miles down the road we have another small building where classes are held. Anyway, our main SEPM console is located at the main part of campus. Would it be a good idea to set up another console at our other location to monitor JUST the clients there? The console at the main campus is currently monitoring all our clients in all the locations. And if it would be a good idea to set up another console in our other area how would I go about doing that? Would I need to purchase another server license for a different location? Any information would be great!

    Thanks!!

No you dont need another license for the same. You can install new sepm and check.

How many clients you have in that location ?if they are less than 10 then you can install them as unmanged. if they are more then install 1 more sepm. its per system license only what you will use .

We have well over 100 clients at this site. And we do not want to have them unmanaged. Would it be good to set up a remote site there?

Yes , set up a new SEPM as you have 100 clients.
