    Hi,

I work in a school and we would like to block the pupils from running or putting on the netwok .exe files off memory sticks.

I am running SEPM 11.05, but a bit of a novice when it comes to the above.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks.

    Hello,

Again thank you for this, think I am close.

Just on some machines after rolling this out it seems to block all the .exe that would usally start on boot up. Turn off the policy and machines works normally again. For example, windowssearch.exe, and all of .exes off the C:\ drive. Not sure if it is the way the hardware is setup in these partuclary machines?

I followed the instructions on the link you sent: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2009020313373948

Works well on other amchines just the Dell Optiplexy 740 I seem to be having issues with,

    Any ideas?

    Many thanks.
