Although SEP can not be installed on a Linux machine and still requires SAV. SEPM can still be used to view the logs on the machine with SAV does this use up one of the existing licenses purchased from symantec? If so which license does it take it from the Windows or the MAC license?

    Hi GeoGeo,

It is not necessary to manually apply any license file to the SAVFL clients. It won't automatically decrease the number of licenses seen in the SEPM, either.  Just do make sure they you purchase enough licenses to cover all the endpoints you are protecting (Linux, mac and Windows).
