SEPM 12.1 Missing Admin > Server section

    I'm trying to follow the instructions in http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH96214 but as I go into SEPM and select Admin there is no "Server" section.  See attached screen shot.  Are the instructions wrong or is my installatioin messed up? 

    I did upgrade for SEPM 11.0 about 6 months ago but everything appears to running fine since the upgrade.

    SEPM version: 12.1.671.4971

    OS: Windows 2008 Standard SP2

    Any suggestions on how to fix this in a simple straight forward way?

    Hi Slefevre,

    Are you login to Endpoint Manager Console as an admin?

    If yes Repaire SEPM

    are you logged in as admin account?

    what is the previelege?

    Hi Slefevre,

    It's by design, you have installed Small Business Edition.

    Small Business contains only three tabs under Admin page, I have attached SBE 12.1 RU1 MP1 screenshot for reference

     As per your comment "I did upgrade for SEPM 11.0 about 6 months ago but everything appears to running fine since the upgrade"

    --> It's not possible to upgrade from Enterprise Edition (11.0 ) to Small Business Edition, it's a downgrade.

    I guess you might have upgraded from SBE 12.0 to SEB 12.1 (12.1.671.4971), however in that case also you won't see Server tab.

    I've been logged in as admin but no Server section/tab.  I read through the link you provided and the recommended fix was to upgrad to the latest SEMP-SBS 12.1.1 which I did and it all ran successfully (i.e. install and upgrade).  But the problem still persists.  I still don't have a Server section/tab as is shown in the instructions I'm trying to follow.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi Slefevre,

    I agree with Chetan this feature not available in SBE 12.1 RU1 MP1.

    If it's by design and Symantec's own docs (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH96214) are wrong, how do I change the Disk Space Management in the SBS edition of SEPM?

    Since it's a Symantec Endpoint Protection SBE 12.1, you may have to uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and Install the Latest verison Released Symantec Endpoint Protection SBE 12.1 RU1

    This would help you resolve the issue.

    Article is correct however I would get added that it's applicable in Enterprise Edition only.

    u may be using a small business edition of SEPM
