SEPM 12.1 parent child server senario

Hello All,

I am having SEPM 12.x server installed at my HQ. I want to installed the SEP clients on one of my remote branch office which connected through HQ by site to Site VPN. I want to create the Parent child server environ ment where my remote client will take the update from the child server. Also please let me know is there any license needed while setting up the two management server or the one which I have allow me to configure this scnario?

there is no extra license, however why not use the GUP feature instead of anaging another server at reote location.

Hello Pete,

I am able to configure the GUP for SEPM and it is working fine. Only one concern is that is SEP 2013 support GUP because we recently upgrate our license from SEP 12.1 to SEP 2013

you went for SEP cloud? im not sure if the option is available.

Hello Pete,

We have upgrade the SEP from 12.1 to SEPM 12.1.2015 but there is no option available for GUP in live update policy, Could you please let me know how can i get the GUP configured for above mentioned version or do i need to install any update or patch for same.

I have check the link you provided in the post and follow the step but there is no option for GUP. For your reference I am attaching the Snaphot of Live update policy of my AV server here with this. Please check and let me know.
