SEPM 12.1 Initial replication with another site fails, reason low bandwidth

Hi

I have master site and a few replication partners sites and everything works fine, but I have problem when I try to add another one replication partner site. During process configuration replication, in the process "replicating database", replication breaks, and I get the following message "Connection already closed"... I tried few more times but initial replication broke again. It seems that network link is too slow with another (replica) location I mean reason is low bandwidth between this two sites.

I wanted to know if I can do replication on some another way ??? Do I can replicate database with some "backup-restore database" method?

I mean, if I can backup database and restore it on another (replica) site locally, to finish replication quickly and successfully ?

p.s. I have SEPM 12.1 on all sites.

thanks

Other site is in the same

Other site is in the same domain but on another location, connected with MIPNET techonology from central to another locations, and that is same subnet through 2Mbs link.

I currently don't have scm-server-0.log but maybe later I will post it.

I just wanted to know if exist another way for initial replicate between two sep12 sites, something like offline replication and... ?

I read this solution but all

I read this solution but all servers where are sepm12 installed are domain controllers. This solution is not good for me.

I need solution that could

I need solution that could export replication data on master site and import same data on replication partner site that I have fail initial replica. Is that solution possible?

"I have master site and a few

"I have master site and a few replication partners sites"

How many sites are there and how big are they in terms of client numbers? I ask this because replication may be unnessary as GUP's could subtitute for these additional replication partners.

"It seems that network link is too slow with another (replica) location I mean reason is low bandwidth between this two sites."

If you have low bandwidth between two sites replication is not a good idea, once again GUP's would be a much better solution for you.

If I was able to help resolve your issue please mark my post as solution.

I have to use replication

I have to use replication method. Only that link is slow, other links between other sites is stable 2Mbs.

I configured servers from all sites to run live update from symantec server, not from master site. GUP's in my case is not necessary I think

Now, when I tried to install

Now, when I tried to install sep12 manager server on remote site like replication partner, I get the following error "Synchronization to the remote site failed: [Sybase][ODBC Driver][SqlAnywhere]Connection was terminated"

Does anybody know what's the problem here?
