SEPM 12.1 (RU6 MP1) blocking traffic to HyperV guests

    Hello,

I am deploying HyperV to a Windows Server '12 edition which has SEPM 12.1 (RU6 MP1) client installed, which is managed by another server.

I have deployed a VM that contains a web-server, but the machine that can access it using HTTP/HTTPS is the host computer. No other computers on the network can access it.

The root cause is the SEPM firewall which is blocking all traffic to the guest. Disabling the firewall will permit the traffic.

I read that this was a known bug and was resolved in a prior version of SEPM (12.1.4.1) so I am wondering if this issue has returned?

Is there an exception I can add to permit traffic for HyperV processes?

Any help would be truly appreciated. Thank you.

Have you added an allow rule for what's being blocked within the traffic log?
