Hi there,

In SEPM 12.1 i can't find the setting anymore how SEPM handles my old endpoint clients, it seems like i have a little shortage in licenses thats why im asking.
I believe in the old version i could set when SEPM deletes the client, if its not online in XX days or something like that.

Where is this setting in SEPM 12.1? And how does it handle clients that are changed like a change in computer name.

Thanks for you help.

Domains

Select your Domain and Edit Domain Properties

You set it on this screen.

If the name changes, it will update in the SEPM after some time. Otherwise it' slike before, clients that havent connect in X days will be deleted, freeing up a license

Brian,

How does SEPM handle attached OU's from AD?
I mean, i have attached OU's in SEPM, is very likely in this OU's there are old now longer used or renamed clients, the old name stays in the OU's until i clear it,so it stays in SEPM if i not clear it from AD. Will this affect my licenses or will SEPM see its an old client with no SEP installed on it so it wont count as a license.

Thanks,

LEVD

Since no SEP client is installed, it won't count against the licensing.
