SEPM 12.1 shows clients not updating, but clients do update.
Created: 03 Oct 2012 | 13 comments
SEPM 12.1 console reports that clients are not updating virus definitions, but when i go to the clients the definitions show that they are current and updated.
How can i make sure that SEPM 12.1 reports 'honestly'?

We don't use Cloned OS images. The reporting used to work, but stopped some three weeks ago.
Is the client showing online?

Hello,
What version of SEPM 12.1 are you running?
Could you check if the Disk space on the SEPM server?
Try Increasing the heartbeat interval to feasible value (eg. 500 computers 1 hr interval).
Delete entries from data/inbox/agentinfo folder and .tmp files from data/inbox.
Hope that helps!!

Hi
I am facing the same problem...
Regards
Same issue here. Not a cloning issue, all of the clients were reporting accurately to the server in the past. They all stopped reporting that they have current signatures on the same date, even though the signatures are up to date when you view them on the client machines.
Got the same issue here. But when we restart the SEPM server, it is now Ok. Try restarting the services or the SEPM server.
Regards,
JM
Have done both. The clients are showing as connected (green dot), but latest signature update indicated in console for hundreds of computers is 3/10/2013. The clients themselves show up to date. This even includes the client on the SEPM server.
