  • 1.  SEPM 12.1.2 MP1 install rolling back on Server 03 R2

    I upgraded our SEPM install to 12.1.2 MP1 and started having problems with the Embedded Database service starting afterwards, so I uninstalled all of the Symantec products, but now I can't get SEPM installed again. The installation gets to "Waiting for LiveUpdate to finish..." and then rolls back the install. I've tried removing registry keys manually as well as the symantec folders on the C: and G: (installation) drive.

    Any ideas? I need to get this solved asap. I've uploaded the SEPM_INST.log.

    Have you run Cleanwipe on the system to get everything fully removed?

    Use latest clean wipe tool and again reinstall

    SEP 12 Install roll back

    Try to restart system and install again..

    I was able to get the manager installed after running Cleanwipe and changing the TEMP/TMP Environmental Variables to C:/Temp.

    I restored the database and went through the re-configuration wizard, but now none of my clients are able to connect.

    I also installed a package for SEP 10 clients and also back.
    I've used a number of ways, and the machine has finished installing.
    You can use the SAV10 NoAV.bat in full to delete the entire package to install the symantec.
    Then run to Cleanwipe.exe. Reboot the workstation and install SEP proceed.
    please send to my mail address to get Nova.bat Tool and Cleanwipe
