This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hello
Yesterday I upgraded SEPM 12.1 to 12.1.2. Now I can't get my clients to be upgraded. I Tried to manually upgrade client software throug remote instal from manager, but it was not successful. Setup gives no errors, I see re-installation process n client, but at the end client still stands on 12.1.671.4971 version. Moreover the client show his icon without small green dot. But connection status is good and client is shown in Manager.
Only manual setup of packet on the client side is helpful. But it's not the way when u have about 100 computers in office
Help please.

Try to upgrade clients using auto upgrade features.

Hello,
In the Enterprise version, you can use Upgrade Clients with Package to upgrade existing clients:
How to upgrade Symantec Endpoint Protection clients by using Auto-Upgrade
However, the following cautions apply:
If you upgrade from 11.x and use Application and Device Control, you must disable the Application Control rule "Protect client files and registry keys." After the clients receive the new policy, you may upgrade using AutoUpgrade.
Due to possible bandwidth concerns, it is best to schedule AutoUpgrade for after hours. You can also stage and select a package on a web server when you run Upgrade Clients with Package, or you can use an alternate method to deploy the upgrade package.
AutoUpgrade is enabled by default for SEP SBE, but you can disable it. Go to the Computers page in the management console, right-click your Group, select Properties, and then click Disable Automatic Client Package Updates.

I found this log but it is outdated. no actual entries.

Hello,
Could you try Exporting a New package of SEP 12.1 RU2 and then Deploying the same via Remote Push from Client Deployment Wizard.
Make sure you prepare your client machines for the SEP 12.1 client by following this article below:
