    Posted Jul 23, 2014 12:57 AM

    Dear All

I downloaded jdb file yesterday "vd41ea09.jdb". I uploaded it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\inbox\content\incoming" folder.

I'm waiting for some action in the folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content", but nothing happend at all.

I see I have still old definitions information on SEPM console.

    Any idea?

    try this

For the SEPM 12.X, which has internet access:

    1. Uninstall LiveUpdate via Add/Remove Programs and then reinstall by running Lusetup.exe from the SEP installation media, or downloading the latest client from the article referenced below.

    2. Open a command line, Start > Run > CMD

    Navigate to C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Bin

    3. Type in the following commands

    lucatalog.exe -cleanup

    lucatalog.exe -forcedupdate

    4. The .JDB should now be able to update the SEPM's Virus Definitions
