Hi guys..,

 

  one of our client is using window 8.1 pro OS.i push remotley to that OS ,but its not installed and also install manually,no use..

Our SEPM version is 12.1.5 RU5..

it will get client pc or server??

i use symhelp..in that they enable the following services

 Windows Installer service

Remote restry.

 

and they ask Terminal service is disable..i check it,but no services like that..?

any one know how to enable terminal services enable??

Need both SEP_inst.lot and sis_inst.log located %temp% directory to see what's going on. Post here for review.

i check in client pc..in temp folder :SEP_inst.log is there,but no SIS_inst.log

And there is a folder name as a symantec,in that folder one file is there name as SEPprep.pcname.log..and one file is SEP_AppRemover

After started the Services...i cheked to deployed,but the system is not found..

System is not found in the Deployment Wizard? 

You need to make sure firewall is off on Windows 8 as well as UAC.

Just export the package from SEPM and isntall it manually on windows 8, would be easlier if you are having less windows 8.

Did you start the BFE service? Does it show as running? SEP relies on this to function properly.

There is a pre-install report in SymHelp that might help to identify an issue on this system:

@ Brɨan : ya, started the service and its running ,..after running once again i started to deployed,but at that time  the " computer is not found " this message i got..

Started the BFS Services and install manually,

And restart the PC...SEPM 12.1.5 is succesfully install in Windows 8.1

 

Trying to install SEP 12.1.5 but if won't finsih the installation process.
