Endpoint Protection

Good Day Everyone;

I am running Windows 2012 r2 64 bit with SEPM 12.1.6 , I recently upgraded from 12.1.5 on Friday which was error free, 35 min upgrade process (basically, did a backup of the db and follow your instructions) and did a simple restart and I was back online.

I did realize that day that the clients were offline but I wanted to give it a time and check on them on Monday. They are still offline.

I did stop a service (its what was recommended, SEPM service), and restarted after the install.

I did export the new syslink_xml file and still no luck.

The clients are all 12.1.x and the green dot is not there anymore. The help, troubleshooting says the server is offline. I can ping and do everything from the client to the server so I know its not a network issue. When you go to SEPM server, the server says its online.

Any help that you guys can provide ?

Note: Currently doing a repair on 12.1.6

Are the SEPM services started?

Run the symhelp tool on the SEPM to do troubleshooting/error checking

The only error I can see is disk full error and I can assure you I have space lol :)

You could also enable FINEST debugging level and let it run for a bit, post the scm-server-0.log file here for review.

1 - You mean SEPM on the server level or the client level ? On the client level , when I run that, I can import the syslink there, and no errors. I could not find it on the server level, which folder does it under ?

2 - Where can I enable FINEST debugging at level ?

The issue is fixed after changing the system login to Windows login under services.

Thanks for the update! Now you don't see any disk space related error?
