  • 1.  SEPM + AD Domains Followup

    Hello All,

I had previously posted a discussion:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/multiple-ad-domains-separate-sepms-one-db

Basically we have a SQL server in a shared zone and two AD Domains.  The discussion above mentions that I should be able to install SEPM on two completely separate domains (which cannot communicate with each other) but they both can use the same Database.  I have recently installed SEPM on one domain.  I am getting ready to install SEPM on the other domain and point it to the existing SQL server Db.

For the second domain install of SEPM, would I create a new site, install an additional management server to an existing site and point it at the SQL server database, or install an additional site for replication?

    Thanks,

    Mitesh

    Install additional management server

I assume you don't want replication?

Since you want to install two sep for two domains, the second one will be new install ( new site) but DB name should be different so that they share same sql server
