    Hi,

I find that my Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard is being under-utilized by only being a Domain Controller and my SEPM 11.0.5.

I would like to add to this server the WSUS 3.0 SP2 role for managing all my machine's Windows Updates.

Is there any trouble, conflicts or malfunction working with both in a same server?

    Thanks.

Yes..when Installing WSUS make sure not to install on the same IIS website. Install it on a Custom Website and everything should be fine.
The only is when they both get installed on single website in IIS.

They can be on the same machine but WSUS and Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager both utilize a virtual directory called "content".  If both WSUS and Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager are installed into the default website, only the last one installed will be able to serve updates. It is recommended that both Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and WSUS be installed to custom sites

We have WSUS/SEPM on the same box here. Just make sure to use port 8530 and 8531 (SSL).
