SEPM and WSUS
Updated: 23 May 2010 | 5 comments
WSUS on port 8530 SEPM on port 80 - it over wrote the content vdir for default website (SEPM)
there is content vdir under the wusu administration website.
Question: if i overwrite the content vdir for default website (SEPM) with it pointing to the wsus content folder, will SEPM fail?

If we are installed to the Default Website and you overwrite our "Content" virtual directory with one pointing to the WSUS content folder then "yes" the SEPM will no longer be able to provide updates to your clients. A better option (as indicated in the document I linked you) would be to move us to a custom website so there are no conflicts.
