  • 1.  SEPM Apache port 8014 Traffic CAP

    Hello,

As you know SEP 12.x uses Apache instead of IIS on the SEPM to communicate with the clients. I had some unpredictable spikes of traffic over port 8014 during the last month and I would like to know if there's an option to configure a bandwitdh cap in Apache like it was possible in IIS.
I've read somewhere that Symantec was working on documenting this configuration parameter but that was more than 6 months ago.

    Anyone some DIY tips?

    Thanks a lot.

    Thanks for the reply Ashish!

I've implemented most bandwidth optilmizing settings already. So unfortunately it cannot be done using Apache like itw as possible with IIS. I'll quote from KB article "TECH164737" for other people landing on this page:

"No method exists to throttle client/server bandwidth usage directly through the SEPM Apache server."
