I was wondering if there is a way to make the Auto-upgrade feature use location awareness to allow clients to download the upgrade packages from both the management server and/or an HTTP URL

Hello,

Autoupgrade is a feature and not a Policy / Setting. So Autoupgrade feature could not be used with Location awareness.

However, you could Enable the "product upgrade settings" under liveupdate Policy, which could assist you.

Location Awareness can be set only for the Policies. However Autoupgrade is a feature and not a policy.

Hence it will only work once we have the clients communicating to the SEPM.
