SEPM cannot see new clients after update to MR4 MP2

I have a rather irritating problem, I cannot see new clients in the SEPM after upgrade.

We ran endpoint 11 MR2, but with Win7 out, we have upgraded to version 11 MR4 MP2.

Steps where as follows:
Point 1) Upgrade from MR2 to MR4
Point 2) Upgrade from MR4 to MR4 MP2.

(I found some documents on this (currently I am not in the possesion of the links).
Everything went fine, and everything is up and running, and I have created a new MR4 MP2 package, that I install on our clients (manually), but now this client does not show up in the SEPM.

Please guide me, thanks a lot.

Package creation method.

Hi,

Kindly let us know how you created the package for installation. Secondly are you able to see the group structure which you had before the ugprade?

Just created them by going to

Just created them by going to admin -> install packages.
Right clicked the 11.0.4202.75 client and selected export.

Exported it as an managed client, and marked a group where to put these clients in. These clients are in computer mode.

I can see the group structure as before, so no problems here. Also all the old clients are there.

Yup, it looks correct. It

Yup, it looks correct. It also shows the group that the client is listed in, but the SEPM does not show the client!
Very very strange.

Similar issue here. Some

Similar issue here.
Some clients are not visible in the console allthough SEP is correctly installed. When we do a search on that particular client we can find it. So the client is in the database but not all views are seeing this client. Very weird.
Also the views are not consistent: in the view 'protection technology' we aren't seeing clients that are visible in the view 'client status' and I should expect that the number of clients you see should be identical in both views.
Also MR4 MP2

After some research I've

After some research I've found what's wrong for my case.
In the dialogbox "set display filter for fat clients" you have the option to choose how many clients you like to see on one page.
Allthough you can enter a value up to 5000 you never see more than 1000 clients!!
I think this is a bug.
Workaround: never enter a value more than 1000 in the box "Maximum number of clients displayed per page".

I found out now, that if I

I found out now, that if I open the clients on the computers that are having this problem, and go to troubleshooting, it will show the IP of the SEPM and not the servername. The clients that are working correctly, it shows the servername, and NOT the ipaddress of the SEPM.
