SEPM, CCS & Altiris on same server?

I am installing SEPM, Control Compliance Suite & Altiris on the same server, SEPM & CCS are working (I had to change the SEPM port) I have clients still reporting in and everything.  When I install Altiris Notification Server to (& I am installing to it's own website) I can no longer login to SEPM.  CCS appears to still be working normally, but Altiris is breaking SEPM - any thoughts on how to fix this?

One of the ports Altiris uses is also used by SEPM.  Installing the SEPIC actually changes this port on Altiris and fixes the problem... but if you aren't installing SEPIC then you would need to change the port manually.  I don't have an NS to hand at the moment, but the setting you need is in the registry, under the Altiris hive.

I would love to give that a try, but the other issue which I forgot to add to my first post is that the Altiris install doesn't create the Application Pools in IIS so I can't even bring up the Altiris web console to get SEPIC.

Last time I asked an Altiris person about that I got the reply "install the NS first, then install SEPM"

sorry :smileysad:

The interesting thing is that an Altiris Support Technician told me on Tuesday to do the opposite & install Altiris Last.
