Hi,

for some reason I still cannot get my head around how clients will talk if doing a cold restore of SEPM and its DB.  Failover and replication models I have worked out fine.

Scenario

Primary site has died.  We have valid back up of SQL and back up of SEPM VM.

Expected Steps

We stand the above up in Dr site - the VM has a different hostname and IP address

The SQL is on a difference instance.

How do I get everything communicating again?  surely clients will not know to contact the moved SEPM?

thanks

DU
