  • 1.  SEPM console is not login

    HI guys,

    We upgrade sepm server to new versio (12.1.6 mp1a)

    After two day the we can not login the console

    i look the services but symantec database service is not running..its "staring" 

    pleaes advise me ,what we need to do?

    i restart the server,but its still the same.

    Can you post the scm-server-0.log file as well as run the symhelp tool to do error checking.

    Check your DB folder and see if you are finding any err files. if its is there post them. also try these steps as well.

     

    rename the sem5.log to sem5.log.old then start your DB service it should work

    1. Stop the SEPM service.

    2. Go to task manager, Kill dbsrv* process.

    3. Rename the sem5.log in db folder in sepm installation

    4. Re start the db service

    5 Complete the steps befor dbsrv* process launches.

     

    If there are any err.log in %SEPM%\DB please post.

    A reboot will also fix the issue.
