  • 1.  sepm console stops responding shortly after login

    Shortly after logging into the SEPM console it appears to completely lockup.  I'm installing on Windows Server 2008 R2 with RU6 MP3 using the embedded database with about 400 clients.  I've tried reinstalling utilizing the disaster recover methods with a database backup.  After restoring the certificate the console hung and I was not able to close it until I stopped the sepm manager service.  At this point I was still not able to restore the database as the restore utility could not connect to the database.  I've completely rebuilt the server from scratch.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    in this case it could be better to call the Support for more dedicated troubleshooting.

    copy all the policies you have created on old sepm, u can export them .

    do a fresh install of sepm..with RU6 MP3

    create groups, import policies.

    use the sylink tool to get the clients inside this new manager
